Tenor Christopher A. Leach and pianist Mikhail Berestnev have been named Artists in Residence for the 2022-23 Cathedral Arts season. Mikhail will appear in two major concerts this year, beginning with a performance on September 11 with the MAKE Trio, then again in April with Christopher and DSO hornist Kevin Haseltine. Christopher has just returned from Paris, where he presented a spectacular recital of vocal music with pianist Mary Dibbern. Christopher, Mary, and soprano Courtney Maina will provide the third installment of their Women’s Voices series on October 23, along with a celebration of their new CD for Toccata Classics London, Mary Howe: Songs and Duets. During the intense construction period underway at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, these performances will be held at the Collora Piano Recital Hall, 1451 Wycliff Avenue in Dallas.
